Is "work-from-home" Profitable?

Remote working is a practice of working from home or any other place other than the office operated by the employer. It reduces the operating costs since fewer employees are physically working at the office and using office supplies, computers and work desks.  Specifically, remote work eliminates overhead costs like lease expenses, office furnishings, utilities, insurance, supplies, etc.

A space is either owned or hired; computers and printers are either owned or hired; heavy electrical bills are paid; stationery, victuals, cab services (pickup and drop facility) and over-time payments are provided as per the company policies and business requirements.

On the other hand, a home based office requires no introduction. It is a chariot that pulls production and time management with no hindrance. There is no work limitation and no over-time concept. Work patterns extremely differ from organization to organization. However, personal interests and work preferences are allowed and respected. It is obvious that productivity and business profits are more during a remote working period.
